These terms govern your use of our digital signage service. They apply to the dashboard, to the screens your organization pairs to it, and to everyone who signs in under your organization's account.
By creating an account, joining an organization, or using the service in any way, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company or another organization, you confirm that you are authorised to do so, and these terms then apply to that organization.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure, and for what happens under your account. Tell your organization's owner or an administrator promptly if you believe someone else has gained access to it.
Accounts are personal. Do not share one, and do not let someone use yours instead of being invited to the organization in their own name.
The service is organized around organizations. Content, screens and members belong to an organization rather than to an individual, and each member holds a role within it that determines what they can see and do.
An organization's owners and administrators can invite new members, change a member's role, and suspend or remove a member. If your access is suspended or removed, you lose access to that organization's content and screens.
Because content belongs to the organization rather than to the person who uploaded it, leaving an organization does not take that content with you.
Your organization keeps ownership of everything it uploads. We do not claim any ownership of your content.
To run the service, you give us permission to store your content, to process it as needed to prepare it for playback, and to deliver and display it on the screens your organization has paired. That permission exists only so we can provide the service to you, and it ends when the content is deleted.
You are responsible for having the rights to the content your organization uploads and displays, including any images, video, music, fonts and trade marks in it.
When using the service, you must not:
Your organization's plan sets limits on how much it can use the service, such as the number of screens it can pair, the number of members it can have, and how much storage its content can occupy. The service enforces these limits, so an action that would exceed one will be refused.
Different plans carry different limits, and a Business organization's limits may be set individually for it. Limits can also go down — when a paid plan ends, or when your organization pays for fewer screens than before. If that happens we do not delete anything: your content stays where it is, and screens beyond the new limit stop playing and are deactivated rather than removed. Until your organization is back within its limits, actions that would exceed them, including new uploads, are refused.
Some plans are free and some are paid. A paid plan is a subscription billed either monthly or annually, and the price that applies to your organization is the one shown to you at the point you subscribe. Our pricing page carries the current prices. Payment is taken through a third-party payment processor.
A paid plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period — monthly for a monthly plan, annually for an annual one — until it is cancelled, and each renewal is charged to the billing details your organization has given us. Prices can change for future billing periods, and where notice of a change is required for your billing arrangement we will give it. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
An owner or administrator can cancel a paid plan at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal rather than ending the plan on the spot: the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for, and until then it can be resumed.
Cancelling does not produce a refund. Time left in a period your organization has already paid for is not prorated and is not returned as money. If a change your organization makes produces a credit, that credit sits on its billing account and is applied to what it owes; it is not a payment back to you.
A paid plan includes a number of screens and an amount of storage. Your organization can pay for additional screens; each one it is billed for raises what it pays at each renewal and raises its storage allowance with it, and paying for fewer screens lowers both again.
If a renewal payment does not succeed, we do not cancel your organization's paid plan. It goes into a billing hold instead: the plan stays with your organization, your screens keep playing what has already been published to them, and nothing is deleted — but changes are paused until the payment is resolved, and an owner or administrator can resolve it at any time. When a payment succeeds, normal operation resumes by itself. A billing hold is not a period of free service, and we do not promise how long one will last.
While a paid plan is in a billing hold, an owner or administrator can choose to end it instead of resolving the payment. Ending it that way takes effect immediately rather than at the end of a paid period, and it does not cancel, reduce or refund anything already owed.
When a paid plan ends, for whatever reason, your organization keeps whatever plan it then qualifies for — which may be a free plan, or may be no plan until a paid one is taken again.
Business plans are arranged with us directly rather than bought from a page. These terms apply to a Business organization in the same way, unless we and that customer have entered into a separate written agreement or order form, in which case that agreement governs whatever it covers differently.
The service itself — the software, the dashboard, the player, the design and our name and logo — remains ours. These terms give you permission to use the service, and nothing more.
The service is under active development. We add, change and occasionally remove features, and there will be periods when the service or parts of it are unavailable, whether for maintenance or because something has gone wrong.
We do not currently offer a guaranteed level of availability. Screens keep playing the content they have already received when they lose their connection, which limits the effect of an interruption, but it does not eliminate it.
You can stop using the service at any time. Your organization's owners and administrators can remove your access to it at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access to the service where it is being used in breach of these terms, where doing so is necessary to protect the service or other customers, or where we are required to. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will say why.
That is not the same as a billing hold, which is about a payment and leaves your screens playing, and neither is the same as your own decision to cancel a paid plan.
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, that it will be free of errors, or that it will meet a particular requirement you have in mind. You are responsible for deciding whether it is suitable for what you intend to use it for.
In particular, a screen may fail to show what you expect — because a device loses power or connectivity, because content was removed, or because of a fault. Where what is on a screen matters, check it.
As the service develops, these terms will change to keep describing it accurately. The current version is always the one published on this page, and continuing to use the service means the current version applies to you.
